Solar Panels and Frames
Solar panels come in many sizes & two main different types.
Monocrystalline which is tempered glass & Polycrystalline which is a polymer material.
Monocrystalline is reputed to be the best but a little bit more fragile.
Polycrystalline is equal in performance but much more durable.
The experts are still arguing which is the superior panel, we have found both perform well.
Panel output voltages vary considerably but generally it is accepted they are 12vDC or 24vDC.
Solar panels need to be secured. There are many ways of achieving this. We have found the
most popular way is using the single pole mounts which can have adjustable tilt angles.
